Fortunately, a teacher had to go to the NMS in Bad Aussee (Styria) on Sunday! Because everything there was already under water. A day or two earlier, some faucets may have been turned on and the drains clogged. In addition, the classes were destroyed.
“Had the teacher not come to the school, the damage would certainly have been much greater,” the Bad Aussee fire brigade suspects. Soggy parquet floors and huge water stains on the ceilings were there too!
The water on the first floor must have been running for a day or two, the drains in the sinks were intentionally blocked with paper. The Bad Aussee fire brigade had to use the wet vacuum cleaner to dry the property and remove parts of the ceiling that had fallen.
trail of destruction
To gain access to the building, a glass door was also smashed in with a 15-centimeter stone. Furniture and monitors were also destroyed and two fire extinguishers in the school building were emptied. It is not yet known who is behind the crime. The police are investigating.
