A 48-year-old woman from the Horn district of Lower Austria is missing. The woman from the Waldviertel was last seen on Sunday when she just quit her job. The police ask for help.
At about 7:30 p.m., the 48-year-old had left the business – specifically the fishing paradise of Hessendorf – in Langau in Geras and, according to police, should have left with her four-wheeled light vehicle to her home address, which is about three kilometers away. The woman has since disappeared. There is no trace of the 48-year-old or her vehicle.
“There are fears of an accident or a criminal offense,” the management said on Thursday. The missing person is described as approximately six feet tall, slender, and with dark, long hair. The vehicle is a 1999 silver Aixam light quadricycle with Horner registration.
Information about the whereabouts of the woman, the vehicle or any suspicious sightings, which can also be treated confidentially if desired, is requested to be sent to the Police Inspectorate of Geras (tel.: 059133-3436) or to the State Criminal Investigation Department of Lower Austria (Phone: 059133-30-3333).
