The shrewd Indian-born manager Rishi Sunak should lead back to politically quieter areas and save his conservative party from ruin. Although he was Secretary of the Treasury under Boris Johnson, he never campaigned, let alone won an election (not even within the party against Liz Truss in early September). He didn’t even come up with a program. So he blows before King Charles III tells him. is charged with forming a government. Both the opposition liberals and the PvdA are calling for new elections. Sunak is only 42 years old and was a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs. The practicing Hindu is also married to the daughter of an Indian billionaire. The couple’s fortune is estimated at more than 830 million euros.
