In fact, it should have just been a routine check. More than half a dozen police officers drove to a family home in Bocksdorf, in the Güssing district, where repeated incidents of all kinds had already occurred. An officer rang the doorbell, a man opened the door and out of nowhere a chase ensued. Because a second boy, who had also remained in the building, ran away. At the time of going to press, the man was still on the run and the manhunt is underway.

When the police officers took a closer look at the house, they were amazed. They discovered two large marijuana plantations where the weed had been grown – illegally, of course. In the first interview, the man who remained in the house did not want to comment, he was taken away handcuffed.
It is unknown how long the two have been producing narcotics. “That will now also be the subject of the investigation,” a police officer told the “Krone” reporter, who took a photo and pictures at the scene. It confirmed: everything looks very, very professional.
