The Mercedes Benz plant in Vitoria-Gasteiz will not operate this Saturday due to supply problems caused by the metal strike in Bizkaia.
The management of the factory in Alava has informed the union representation and the staff of the decision not to work in the assembly, painting and gross assembly sectors on October 29, as planned.
This decision stems from the metal strike in Bizkaia on October 27 and 28 and November 2 and its impact on Mercedes suppliers in that area.
CCOO, LAB and UGT on the one hand and ELA on the other have decided to maintain these three days of strike after no progress was made at the last meeting of the negotiating table of the agreement.
