Earlier a couple attacked – Innsbruck: the motorist shoots and hits a man

Date:

A dispute between a sports car driver and a couple in downtown Innsbruck should have escalated completely on Saturday night! While passers-by complained about the loud roar of the engine, the occupants panicked, a 29-year-old and his wife attacked and also beat the man.

A previously unknown man was standing on the sidewalk on Maria-Theresien-Strasse in Innsbruck with his sports car around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday. There he took selfies with his passenger and also revved his motorcycle a few times. That disturbed a 29-year-old Austrian who was nearby with his wife (28). He confronted the steering wheel.

A scuffle ensued, during which the couple was pushed to the ground. The 29-year-old was also kicked by the strangers. One of the two fled on foot in the direction of the Triumphal Arch. When the driver tried to flee with the speedster, the attacked man stopped him and stood directly in front of the car. The steering wheel still drove forward, causing the 29-year-old to fall onto the hood and onto the ground after a few yards.

Both victims seriously injured, manhunt is underway
The 29-year-old and his wife were seriously injured and taken to hospital. “An immediate search at the crime scene for the fleeing car driver was negative,” the police said for the time being. Several witnesses observed the wild scenes and noted the vehicle’s license plate.

Car has German registration
In the course of Sunday it turned out that the two occupants of the Ferrari were a South Tyrolean and a local. The car with a German registration could be found by the officials. The police were busy with the interrogation until the evening, where the two voluntarily came.
