A 17-year-old from the Urfahr region (Upper Austria) had to be hospitalized with the emergency doctor on Monday evening. A firecracker had exploded in his hand.
The 17-year-old from the Urfahr region celebrated a party at his home on Halloween night with several people. They had previously attended a Halloween party in Unterweitersdorf. According to their own statements, they had received a firecracker from an unknown person there. At home they wanted to light the fireworks and went to the neighboring meadow.
Not immediately exploded
The 17-year-old lit the fireworks, but it didn’t explode right away. As the young man bent down, the fireworks exploded beneath him. The 17-year-old was taken to Kepler University Hospital with injuries of unknown grade after receiving emergency care from the emergency room doctor.
