Because a 50-year-old from Lavanttal had thrown his 82-year-old mother out of the house, showing her threatened and aggressive behavior towards the police, the police had to arrest the man.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on All Saints’ Day, there was an argument between a 50-year-old man and his 82-year-old mother in the St. Andrä community in the Lavant Valley. The son locked the older woman out of the common house during the quarrel. “Armed with a flower pot, he threatened to throw it at her if he came back in,” police said.
The handcuffs clicked
The son behaved unwillingly and very aggressively towards the oncoming police. Despite repeated requests to stop his behavior, he continued to insult the police officers and was arrested as a result. The man is publicly reported for dangerous threats against his mother, and he is also prohibited from approaching and entering the communal property.
