A compatriot who runs a pizzeria in Spital am Pyhrn in Upper Austria was attacked by a 22-year-old. He wasn’t exactly prudish and the robbery lasted for hours.
The 22-year-old Afghan citizen from Vienna came to the pizzeria in Spital am Pyhrn around 11 a.m. on Wednesday. But he didn’t want to eat anything, instead holding a knife and screwdriver for the innkeeper and compatriot of the same age. Intimidated, the victim handed out money and valuables worth 5,000 euros.
Victim threatened for three hours
The robber repeatedly threatened to kill his victim if he called the police or told anyone else about the crime. He held his victim under his gun for three hours and prevented escape by locking the doors of the bar.
The robber then fled in a taxi to the train station, but was stopped there by police officers who had meanwhile been alerted. He denied everything and was imprisoned in Garsten.
