Home invasion in Lower Austria: Three perpetrators brought a package to camouflage a 43-year-old – and robbed him!
When a man in Öhling in the Amstetten district opened the front door of three alleged parcel carriers at 7:35 AM, he suddenly looked down the barrel of a gun. The men pushed the 43-year-old into the house, tied him up and gagged him. They then threatened their victim with a gun and demanded money and jewelry. Whereupon the attacked man gave the robbers the loot they needed – but apparently not enough.
Threesome turned violent
Because after the intruders searched the boxes and cupboards in the house, they tied the man to an armchair and beat him too. It wasn’t until they had searched the rooms again that they released the victim and fled. After some time, the tied man managed to free himself and alert the police.
The 43-year-old was able to describe two perpetrators after the attack. Both wore grey/black work gloves, one a yellow down jacket, the other dark clothing. Both spoke a few words of German with an accent. For information about an escape vehicle, please call: 059133-30-3333.
