Driver injured – right of way: cyclist (25) hit

On Friday afternoon in Salzburg-Lehen, a traffic situation developed into a tangible quarrel between a motorist (54) and a cyclist (25). The cyclist hit the driver of the car with his fists. The 25-year-old fled before emergency services arrived.

Police say the driver of the vehicle gave way to the oncoming cyclist. This situation led to an argument between the two men.

The 25-year-old hit the 54-year-old’s face and then fled on his bicycle towards Lehener Park.

The rescue had to take the injured driver to the university hospital. An initial search for the cyclist turned up nothing.
