In Gralla (Leibnitz district of Styria) a man walked around a bar for the first time on Sunday evening and declared that he was “the savior”. He then attacked the police and injured them.
At around 10:15 p.m., visitors to the fast-food restaurant saw shocking scenes. A 53-year-old harassed the guests so much that the police had to be called.
insults and threats
When it arrived, the situation escalated. The man waved his hand at police officers in the parking lot, claiming he was “Jesus” and “the Savior.”
He refused to leave the premises of the property and continued to infuriate himself with incantations. He threatened, among other things, that he would shoot the police officers with their own weapons.
violence against police officers
When officers tried to arrest him, he kicked and punched. Only with the support of a second patrol could the 53-year-old be tamed and the police handcuff him.
Two police officers suffered minor injuries in the operation, but were able to return to work. During his arrest, which he defended, the man suffered abrasions that were treated at the regional hospital in Wagna.
