“I’ve always wanted to be famous for something,” Christian S. (52) says of his trial, which is expected to take place in early 2023. He is alleged to have injected a 43-year-old overdose of liquid ecstasy on September 30, 2021 and raped him. Now the prosecution has officially charged: but not for murder – he is charged with rape resulting in the death and abuse of a defenseless person. The evidence – there are also videos – and the reports were ultimately not enough for a murder charge.
The penalty remains the same: the 52-year-old faces a life sentence. In addition, the Public Prosecution Service requests admission to an institution for mentally ill offenders.
