Trial at the Eisenstadt Regional Court: two Germans and a Hungarian wanted to sell 6.5 kilos of coke and fell into the net of an undercover investigator.
A colorful group that had to feel at ease in the dock of the Eisenstadt regional court: two Germans, 57 and 45 years old, one a sauna club operator, the other a cook; and a forklift driver (56) from Hungary. Total number of previous convictions: 12, of which 7 are relevant.
Possible earnings: 250,000 euros
In August 2023, the trio wanted to put a long-cherished plan into practice: we load six and a half kilos of cocaine with a purity of 80 percent in the trunk in Hungary, drive it to Austria, hide the substance on a company premises. in Parndorf, then call the buyer and collect 250,000 euros.
It’s just stupid that the customer was an undercover cop and the three were arrested on the spot. A ‘real’ trader could easily have sold the stuff per gram to people for 850,000 euros.
A fool gets angry…
On the advice of their renowned attorneys Michael Dohr and Marcus Januschke, the defendants pled full guilt. Of course everyone deeply regretted it, and there was talk of amateurism. “Offering so much is a bit stupid,” said Dohr, as the chef quietly criticized himself: “I’m such an idiot! I’m annoyed with myself.”
The verdict – 5 and 7 years in prison for the Germans, 3 for the Hungarians – is not final because the prosecutor did not provide any explanation.
