Four injured are the sad consequence of a serious road accident in Schranawand in the district of Baden in Lower Austria. At the intersection of the L 150 between Unterwaltersdorf and Moosbrunn, two vehicles collided head-on on Wednesday afternoon for reasons that are still unclear.
One person was trapped in one of the wrecks of the accident. She had to be freed from the car by the fire brigade of Schranawand and Unterwaltersdorf.
Wounded by helicopter to hospital
Another three occupants of the second car were also injured in the accident and had to be treated at the scene by an ambulance and paramedics. The injured were then taken by the ambulance service to the surrounding hospitals. The helicopter was also in action. How the accident happened is still under investigation.
