Two previously unknown and armed men robbed a gas station in western Innsbruck on Sunday night. They threatened the employee with a hammer and a knife. The perpetrators made off with several hundred euros. The woman went into shock.
Horrible scenes took place in a gas station in the west of Innsbruck around 3 a.m. on Sunday. Two masked and armed perpetrators entered the store through a side entrance and threatened the employee present with a hammer and a knife. They asked the woman to hand over the money from the till.
Manhunt so far unsuccessful
One of the men then reached into the cash register and stole several hundred euros. The two strangers then fled west on foot. A customer present followed the two. However, he lost track. An immediate search by the police has so far yielded nothing. The employee was not injured, but was in shock.

Perpetrator description available
One of the suspects is about 30 years old, about 1.80 meters tall, has a stocky build and fair skin. He wore a dark coat, light blue jeans, gray woolen gloves, brown shoes and a balaclava with an eye hole. He also carried a dark backpack and was armed with a hammer.
His accomplice was between 1.65 and 1.70 meters tall, also wore a dark coat and a light hoodie underneath. He wore light-colored trousers, dark shoes and had a dark balaclava on his head. He also had a knife in his hand.
