The President of Russia, Vladimir Putinhas ordered the demobilization of students from the so-called People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk who had been called up before their annexation by Moscow, as reported today by the Kremlin.
“Putin has ordered the demobilization of the students and organizing their return to the study centers,” said Russian presidency spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by the agency Interfax.
The same source added that the militias of Donetsk and Lugansk were integrated into the Russian Armed Forces after the inclusion of those entities in the Russian Federation past 30 Sept.
The pro-Russian authorities of the so-called people’s republics ordered a general mobilization on February 19 this year, five days before Russia launched its “special military operation” in Ukraine.
