The police in Telfs in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land are looking for at least three men. On the night of Sunday, they wanted to persuade a local resident (17) to buy drugs. The young person asked another local resident (24) for help. The “reward” for his help consisted of severe blows to the face.
The incident happened around 1:45 am. The teenager was harassed by several men at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz in Telfs. They asked the boys to buy drugs from them. However, the 17-year-old was not in the mood for that. “As the men became increasingly intrusive, he asked a 24-year-old who happened to pass by for help,” the researchers say.
Knocked unconscious with fists
The 24-year-old asked the men to leave the teen alone. As a “thank you” he received two slaps in the face from one of them. As a result, he lost consciousness and fell to the ground. The 24-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries. The unknown men meanwhile fled to the west.
The police ask for information
Police are now asking for information from the public. The main perpetrator is said to be a man of Turkish descent who wore a white sweater. The second man wore a gray sweater, the third a black cap and headphones.
Useful information is requested from the police station in Telfs on 059133/7126.
