Anger and bewilderment in the small community of Musau in the Ausserfern region of Tyrol: On the night of Sunday, unknown vandals visited the local fire station and left swastikas on the facade and shutters, among other things. In the building of the sewerage association, they set fire to worktops and circuit diagrams. The police are now hoping for clues!
Ironically, those who spent their free time in the service of the general public became the target of an act of vandalism in Musau from Saturday to Sunday. Near the command center of the local fire station, unknown persons smashed a window – another was scratched. The perpetrators sprayed swastikas and typical Nazi codes such as “HH” or “88” on the outside facade and on a roller shutter.
Ignited in the pumping station
But that’s not all: in the same building there is also a pumping station of the sewerage association Vils/Reutte. The strangers forcibly gained access to the building in the basement and set fire to various worktops and circuit diagrams. Gasoline would also have been used.
Hoping for clues
In any case, the anger is great in the village. For the fire brigade and the mayor Sieghard Wachter it is incomprehensible that such senseless destruction is taking place. So far there is no trace of the perpetrators. Investigators are hoping for eyewitnesses.
