“Joke” will be expensive – students (14) would have falsified crimes

Date:

This call can be expensive for a young person from Scharnstein in Upper Austria: he is being investigated against him for an act of an act threatened with punishment. The 14-year-old is said to have made a phone call with an employee of the Graz State Hospital as if people were in a mortal danger.

It was on Friday at 10.28 am when the phone announced in the State Hospital Graz. The hospital employee who accepted the call had to assume that a person on the other side of the line is an acute danger for life.

Shout in the background
He heard how apparently someone tried to say something with the last force. Shouting could be heard in the background, but immediately afterwards the connection broke off. Various attempts to call back were not successful because nobody left and the phone was finally completely eliminated.

The call was taken seriously in the LKH Graz and the State Criminal Police Office Styria was warned a little later. Finally, two addresses in the municipality of Scharnstein can be identified via location and location search. A woman who lived at the first residential address was completely surprised by the police officers and was able to convert credibly that they actually knew nothing about the call.

Teachers recognized owners of mobile phones
The second address was a school. Based on the WhatsApp profile for the telephone number, it was already clear that the photo of the owner of the mobile phone had to be around 13 to 15 years old. With the help of the teaching staff, it soon became possible to identify a 14-year-old. This was the son of the woman who was initially completely wrong.

The young man was brought out of his class, in which lessons took place. He finally admitted the call, but explained that it was “just a joke”. The man is now being investigated because of the suspicion of the fake of an action threatened with punishment.
