The family of the talented soccer player who crashed an Audi S3 in a rally car said the “beautiful angel” will never be forgotten. Sam Harding, 20, was hit by an engine Sunday night when car enthusiasts gathered for a rally at an industrial complex in Warrington, Cheshire.

Police have arrested an uninjured motorist, a 21-year-old man from Leeds, West York, on death row for unsafe driving. He remains under arrest today (Monday).

Police said Sam, a talented quarterback who played for Glosup North End, watched the match. In a police statement, his family said: “Our beautiful son was tragically taken away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

“A beloved son, brother, nephew, nephew and friend to many. We will never forget Sam and we will always love you.”

“Rest in peace my beautiful angel, I love my mother, my father, my mother XX.”

Cheshire Police said officers were alerted to reports of a collision between cars and pedestrians in the Kingsland Grange, Woolston and Warrington. Upon arrival, they find Sam, who was rushed to the hospital but died despite the doctors’ efforts.

Investigators investigating the incident asked about witnesses and video footage. Sergeant Simon Digg said. The investigation into this incident is still at an early stage and we are ready to go to great lengths to establish what happened.

We know that several people were present at the “car rally” and we want to hear collision witnesses as part of our investigation.

“The same goes for anyone who has video footage of the event, before and after the collision itself.

“I urge anyone with information, however small, to contact us.”
