Good news from the apprenticeship market in Tyrol: the number of young people following apprenticeships has increased. In the first year of training, it increased by 4.4 percent compared to 2021. But it’s not all pure luck!
David Narr, specialist worker coordinator at the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, is very satisfied with the current figures for apprenticeships in Tyrol. At the end of October there were 10,551 pupils, a decrease of 1.1 percent compared to the previous year. However, the number of young people in the first year of dual education increased by 4.4 percent to a total of 3,315. The young Tyroleans are trained in 3157 companies across the country that offer internships. This number has decreased by 76 compared to last year (see graph).
