Trade unions CCOO, LAB, ELA and UGT have called on gas station workers in Bizkaia to strike between December 1 and December 5 “in the face of the employer’s continued refusal to sign an agreement updating rights”.
As the CCOO union said in a note, the three-year negotiations have come to naught due to the “blockade” of the employer, which continues to “refuse to raise wages or guarantee workers’ purchasing power”.
Workers in the sector demand wage increases that guarantee their purchasing power and improve their working conditions.
