It was a curious case that concerned the Innsbruck police: a van with 70 packages had disappeared without a trace – the driver could not be reached. Now the transporter has been found and the mystery of its disappearance has been solved.
The delivery company’s boss had tried to reach the driver after the car was last seen at 4 p.m. Tuesday. However in vain. As a result, the employee did not appear at the parcel service as usual on Wednesday to load the vehicle and the delivery van could not be found either. A complaint was then filed.

Now the carrier has resurfaced in Innsbruck. “The load was completely inside the vehicle. According to the current status of the investigation, there were internal disputes between the business owner and the driver, after which the driver left the vehicle parked and drove back home,” the investigators said.
After completion of the investigation, a report will be made to the public prosecutor’s office in Innsbruck.
