Pompous party – Biden’s granddaughter Naomi got married at the White House

Date:

For the first time in more than 25 years, a member of the president’s family has married at the White House in Washington DC. Joe Biden’s eldest granddaughter Naomi King (28) said yes to her fiancé Peter George Neal (25) on Saturday. Hunter Biden’s daughter provided a novelty: never before has a grandchild of the president been married in the corridors of the official residence.

Since 1812, only 19 wedding ceremonies have been held at the White House. For the average citizen, a party there will remain an impossible dream.

But the granddaughters of American presidents apparently make an exception.

Naomi Biden was allowed to lead her wife Peter Neil to the altar. For this, the White House, which was already beautiful, was refurbished. She met her fiancé in 2018.

Naomi was named after Joe Biden’s late daughter, Naomi. When Biden was still vice president, she often traveled with her grandparents to appointments in New Zealand, China and Turkey, among others. She herself is interested in politics.

She is the granddaughter of Biden who hosted a family reunion in 2019 when Biden was hesitant to run against Donald Trump. Together with her sisters Maisy and Finnegan, she encouraged him to flee.
