Hundreds of counterfeit prescriptions, medicines and cannabis were seized during a house search. A woman from Lavanttal is suspected of having sold the drugs in the drug world.
The police station of St. Andrä im Lavanttal was able to prove that a 25-year-old woman from the Wolfsberg district had created false prescriptions. The woman is suspected of having used specially drawn up prescriptions to obtain medicines from various pharmacies in Austria, at least between the end of February 2024 and mid-March of this year.

She also received personal information from other known accomplices so that she could exchange the false prescriptions. Ultimately, she sold the drugs in the drug environment.
During a house search, a total of 267 false and pre-printed prescriptions were seized, as well as 736 units of various prescription drugs and a small amount of cannabis and opiates. According to the current state of the investigation, the woman has so far earned several thousand euros in proceeds from the sale of the drugs. The investigations are still ongoing.
