On Friday evening, a Syrian (14) and a Villach (16) got together for a meeting where they wanted to clarify their differences. But the planned debate ended in a brawl.
The boys had recorded their meeting on a Friday evening shortly before 6 p.m. in the center of Villach via a social media platform, as there were earlier differences of opinion that needed to be clarified. “A 49-year-old Syrian national and a 14-year-old from Hermagor district were also present at the meeting,” police said.
During the conversation, a physical altercation ensued between the four persons, in which the 49-year-old was injured. He was admitted to the LKH Villach. The 14-year-old Syrian also suffered injuries in the scuffle, but refused medical attention. The other two people involved were unharmed.
