A 23-year-old alcoholic without a driver’s license injured a police officer on Saturday as he tried to flee a traffic check. The woman waved in Wiener Neustadt and drove at high speed, which is why officials wanted to stop her.
But she kept driving, trying to force police off the roadway and didn’t stop when patrol cars blocked the road, police said. One officer suffered minor leg injuries.
The driver’s license shown was false
The 23-year-old then refused to get out of her car, insulted the officers and tried to flee several times. When she could finally be checked, according to the police, it turned out that the driver’s license presented was false and that the woman actually does not have one.
Woman has been arrested
The license plates of the car have been stolen. Suspected drugs were also seized. The Lower Austrian was temporarily arrested and taken to Wiener Neustadt prison. Because of the administrative violations, she is reported to the district administration.
