Date:

The climate stickers have done it again. Several climate chaos got stuck on the busy Rudolfkreuzung in Linz. A police action is underway.

They protest to draw attention to climate change and cause traffic jams themselves. Three climate activists glued themselves to the street at around 8:30 am on Monday at the Rudolfkreuzung in Linz-Urfahr, two other activists from the group “Last Generation Austria” were just sitting there and had not yet glued themselves to it.

The police are currently on duty. However, a long traffic jam has already formed in the direction of Urfahr. The action, which was not registered, was obviously prohibited. The activists are taken away.

“I’m here for my two younger sisters”
Jelena Saf, 24, web developer, keeps one hand on the asphalt: “I’m here today for my two younger sisters. I don’t want them to live in a climate hell. Therefore, here and now I stand in the way of the destruction of fossils. We need action now! 100 km/h on the Autobahn costs nothing and saves us 180 million liters of fuel and 460,000 tons of CO2 annually. How long do Nehammer and Kogler want to wait?
