The 45-year-old Mühlviertler, who found a 22-year-old during a walk in Unterweißenbach (Upper Austria) in the snow, has died. The man has since died in the Wels-Grieskirchen clinic.
The 45-year-old man fell on Saturday morning on his way home from a birthday party in his hometown of Unterweißenbach and was unable to get on his feet. A 22-year-old woman from the neighborhood accidentally found him lying in the snow Saturday morning while walking her dog. She immediately alerted her father, who actually managed to resuscitate the man. Apparently he was only wearing a T-shirt and no jacket. At the time of the accident, it would only have been between zero and minus two degrees.
