Police investigate – animal abuser cut off ponytail in Tyrol

An unknown animal abuser got into mischief in the Tyrolean Oberland on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The perpetrator sneaked into a stable in Obergurgl (Imst district) and cut off a horse’s tail. Police are now hoping for possible clues.

The animal abuser is said to have struck between 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. He was given access to the stable and cut off the tail hair of a German sport horse. The perpetrator was then able to flee undetected.

The executive branch launched an investigation. However, so far there is no trace of the animal abuser. Officials now hope that someone made suspicious sightings during that period.
