“Nothing like this has happened to us yet,” says the stunned animal shelter in Baden (Lower Austria). A stranger had taken advantage of the short lunch break to undetected leave a transport box in front of the entrance gate.
Two employees discovered it and were shocked by the contents: “It contained six small puppies. They are only a few days old and have not even opened their eyes properly.” The little furry friends are desperate for their mother and the animal shelter tries to replace them as best they can and get them used to the bottle.
Health status still unclear
An award is of course not yet to be thought of. First you need to make sure all puppies are healthy. “But we would appreciate Royal Canin puppy milk, laundry detergent and paper towels.”
