Not a comfortable Sunday evening for the fire brigade in Eastern Styria: a warehouse in Großwilfersdorf caught fire late Sunday afternoon. Eight fire departments worked for five hours and finally got the fire under control. No one was injured.
At the Großwilfersdorf fire brigade, the alarm went off around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. An East Styrian stated that he was about to start his car in the garage when a fire suddenly broke out. When the Großwilfersdorf fire brigade arrived on the scene, the entire warehouse was already on fire. The alarm was immediately raised, so that a total of 85 firefighters from Hainersdorf, Neudorf/Ilz, Obgrün, Ilz, Bierbaum, Altenmarkt, Fürstenfeld and Großwilfersdorf fought the fire.
