Police officers were called to an apartment in Vienna-Donaustadt on Wednesday morning. A 45-year-old had kicked, beaten and threatened to kill his partner (37) the night before.
When the dispute escalated again in the morning, the 37-year-old alerted the Viennese police. On arrival, the 45-year-old was aggressive towards officers and denied the allegations. The 15-year-old daughter also stated that her father had allegedly physically assaulted her in the past.
Suspect in hospital
An entry and approach ban has been issued against the suspect. Because the 45-year-old had chest pain, he was first taken to a hospital. The partner was unharmed.
He claimed to have had a fight with his partner due to jealousy, but denied all allegations. He was taken to a prison by order of the public prosecutor’s office in Vienna.
