It was hellish on Sunday evening in the Tyrolean Ötztal, where countless Krampuses hung out. However, one or the other devil clearly went too far. In one case, a stationary car was hit and severely damaged. A short time later there was a similar incident which was filmed by a passerby. In the end his smartphone had to believe it…
It’s a terrifying but wonderful custom that inspires many around Sinterklaas in early December: the tradition of the Krampuses. Unfortunately, there are also “black sheep” among the infernal devils who always cause annoying incidents. Also on Sunday evening in Längenfeld in the Tyrolean Ötztal.
Eggs on window, paint scratched
At around 8:30 p.m., a previously unknown Krampus hit a car near the church with his cane, which was forced to stop due to traffic. “He also threw eggs at the windshield and scratched the paint with the cowbell on the back,” police said.
Spectators filmed vandals
An hour later, a similar incident occurred in the same area. “The Krampus was filmed by a spectator, after which it was attacked by the disguised man. The witness’s smartphone was damaged in the process,” the detectives continued.
It is unclear whether the two cases involved the same Krampus. The police started an investigation. Any witnesses must report.
