The maximum price will be registered between 00:00 and 01:00, when it will be 222.43 euros/MWh, while the minimum between 15:00 and 16:00 will be 40.32 euros/MWh.
The price of electricity on the wholesale market (pool) of the Spanish state is set for tomorrow, April 16, at 153.85 euros per megawatt hour (euros/MWh), which represents a decrease of more than 22% compared to the value for next Friday, and the lowest price since the start of the war in Ukraine.
According to data from the Iberian Electricity Market Operator (OMIE), the maximum price will be recorded tomorrow between 00:00 and 01:00, when it will be 222.43 euros/MWh, while the minimum will reach 40.32 euros/MWh between 15:00 and 16:00.
Despite this new drop, the electricity price is nearly tripling the amount recorded a year ago, when it was paid at 68.93 euros/MWh, although it is more than 25% lower than the figures of February 24, when the invasion of Ukraine began.
