In Austria, 9,790 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday), a week ago there were 12,504 new cases. The number of hospitals continues to fall, but the number of deaths remains high.
Once again, the number of patients requiring care in hospitals due to an infection with the corona virus fell. 174 people infected with corona are currently being cared for in intensive care, 13 fewer than the day before. So far there are 4,036,813 positive test results in Austria. On April 15, 09:30 AM, 16,390 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died across Austria and 3,873,490 have recovered. There are currently 2,096 people infected with the corona virus in hospital.
