Lisa and Hanna from Saalfelden (Salzburg) bring their own piece to the international TV program The Voice Kids with dialect songs.
Double pack “This is our first professional photo shoot”, Lisa and Hanna radiate from below. Posing for the photographer “Krone” is still unusual for the two sisters from Saalfelden. They feel much better standing on stage together with their guitars and singing songs in two voices.
“We once sang his favorite song ‘Wo der Wildbach rushes’ for an elderly gentleman’s birthday. Then tears welled up in his eyes,” says 15-year-old Lisa. The sisters often appear at birthday parties, weddings or baptisms. No less often they also get such emotional reactions.”It is an indescribably beautiful feeling to be able to touch people like this,” says Lisa.
Also on the stage of The Voice Kids, the two sisters hope to be able to touch the public and the jury from Friday. “We were very nervous. There were cameras everywhere,” says Lisa. It’s a good thing the two girls had prominent support on their side beforehand. “Chris Steger visited us at home as part of the show and gave us tips for the performance.” A friendship has since developed between the three. “It’s super cool that they both sang my song on the show. That’s an honor for me of course,” says Steger. The Pongauer once stood on the stage of The Voice himself.
“After The Voice Kids, it’s over for the time being with TV shows. The school and the performances we have at home are paramount”, Lisa and Hanna agree.
The sisters also put some songs on their YouTube channel or their Instagram account.
