A witness observed the drunkard’s destructive activities around 1:30 p.m. in Ruckergasse and alerted the police. The suspect, a German, was stopped at the intersection of Bischoffgasse and Rosasgasse. The 28-year-old still had the knife in his hand and his little finger was bleeding.
The German admitted to having punctured the tires and allowed himself to be arrested without resistance. The suspect gave no explanation for his actions, a Interrogation was not possible due to a blood alcohol level of 1.96 per mille. After the 28-year-old was treated in hospital, he was released.
