On Tuesday afternoon, a truck with a trailer overturned on a roundabout in Eibiswald (Deutschlandsberg district) for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The truck driver was not injured.
At around noon, a 56-year-old from the Deutschlandsberg district drove into the roundabout in a gravel-laden truck and intended to take the third exit towards Wies. While still on the roundabout, the trailer began to tip to the side and then the entire trailer flipped over. The cause is still the subject of ongoing research.
Fire brigade salvaged vehicle
No one was injured in the accident. The volunteer fire brigade of Eibiswald recovered the heavy vehicle. The cargo was transferred to another vehicle.
The B76 was closed for several hours in the accident area.
