A motorist (30) collided with his vehicle in the Hintersteiner See in Tyrol on Friday evening. Apparently he had slipped on the nearby road.
On Friday around 5.20 pm, an Austrian (30) drove a car in Scheffau from the Goingstätthof inn in the east.
Fortunately, Lenker was able to free himself
Due to the wintry road conditions, the driver hit the right side of the road with his vehicle and collided with the Hintersteiner See. The car overturned and came to rest on the roof of the vehicle in the water.
The driver was able to free himself from the vehicle unharmed. The car was recovered by the FFW Scheffau using a cable winch on Lake Hintersteiner See and the escaping oil was tied up.
