Fearing her brutal boyfriend, a young woman from Linz fled to the roof of a four-storey apartment building on Untere Donaulände in Linz on Monday afternoon. A policewoman and the professional fire brigade rescued the woman.
According to police, there was an argument between the 20-year-old and her five-year-old boyfriend at Stefanitag. He would have beaten her. At around 2:45 p.m., the woman climbed out of a window in the apartment on the roof of the four-story building. From there she called for help. A passerby alerted the emergency services.

A policewoman rescued the terrified woman from the roof with a rotating ladder with the professional fire brigade Linz. The 20-year-old was taken to hospital. The suspected friend was arrested.
