The police arrested a group of young people in Strobl on Wolfgangsee (Flachgau) on Thursday who stole and drove at least two cars. The youngest is only 12 years old, the oldest 17. They were caught because they were seen by a witness who tried to open parked cars in a settlement, the police reported on Thursday.
The witness stated that several people drove into the settlement with two cars and approached several vehicles. After alerting the police, he blocked the exit of the settlement with his pick-up truck. The perpetrators fled on foot and dispersed. With the help of a service dog, officers later found three boys in a parked car.
