On Easter Sunday at 10:52 PM, an unknown perpetrator called the police in Linz and threatened a club in Linz with a bomb. The restaurant, where about 250 to 300 guests stayed, was subsequently evacuated. Luckily nothing found.
More patrols and the WCC were ordered to the scene. Roadblocks were set up, an orderly evacuation of the restaurant was arranged and guests were moved to a safe distance. A search of the club’s home by the alerted units and a police dog turned up nothing. At 12:45 PM, the club reopened to guest access. No one was injured. The investigation is still ongoing.
