A wild chase broke out on the Inntalautobahn shortly after noon on Tuesday. A motorist presumably fled from several police patrols and eventually drove onto the A12. The escape ended in an accident.
Already in Innsbruck officials would have tried to stop the woman in her car. “But she ignored the instructions and drove onto the highway at the Innsbruck-Ost ramp,” police spokesman Christian Viehweider told the “Krone”. The driver should then have driven towards Kufstein and fled from about 14 police patrols.
As is now known, the pursuit ended with an accident at the exit in Wiesing. The driver is only slightly injured for the first information. The investigations are still ongoing.
