A 29-year-old strangled an acquaintance who was nine months pregnant on Sunday in the Lehen district of Salzburg during an argument. The woman’s husband eventually evicted the attacker from the apartment and alerted the police.
The attacker grabbed the woman by the neck and threatened to come back and not leave the 28-year-old alone. The man then kicked him out of the apartment. The 29-year-old has filed a complaint.

According to the police, the three parties involved have not provided any information about the background of the dispute. The only thing that is certain is that the 29-year-old had visited the couple in their apartment and there had been a dispute that later escalated.
Police later issued a provisional firearms ban and an entry and approach ban against the 29-year-old.
