At first they were speeding, and when they were checked the son (17, was behind the wheel) and father became very cheeky. The teen had just gotten his driver’s license.
During speed checks on Sunday afternoon in the B1 area in Baumgarting (Upper Austria), officials stopped a car traveling at 110 kilometers per hour in the area of the maximum speed limit of 70 kilometers per hour.
At the subsequent inspection of the driver and the vehicle, the 17-year-old driver’s license holder and his 58-year-old father, both from the Vöcklabruck district, behaved irreconcilably and aggressively towards the police officers.
With rude words
When asked about the worn-out left front tire, the youngster stated that he would only be driving 10 kilometers to work after all and told them rudely that he did not believe what they were saying. The 17-year-old, whose driver’s license was issued only the day before, and his father are repeatedly reported to the Vöcklabruck district authority.
