Eight people have been found dead in an apartment building in the US state of Utah. Five of them were minors, it said Wednesday (local time) in a statement from the southern city of Enoch. The dead had gunshot wounds, police said.
The background to the bloody deed is completely unclear. There is currently no danger to the public, the executive said. Further details were initially unknown.
“We Won’t Guess”
“We don’t know why this happened and we won’t guess,” a community leader told local broadcaster KSL.
The police were therefore still in the building on Thursday evening looking for clues.
