He didn’t even know where he was, couldn’t take a breathalyzer test, but he was behind the wheel of his truck. Shortly afterwards, the heavily drunk truck driver was caught by the police in Upper Austria.
The 35-year-old Georgian citizen drove his truck from the Czech Republic in Wullowitz to Austria around 8 p.m. on Saturday. The man came across as suspicious to a patrol of the Kefermarkt Autobahn Police Inspectorate, who then carried out a driver and vehicle check.
Heavily drunk
Officers determined that the driver was clearly intoxicated. He didn’t even know what country he was in, could barely stand and then fell asleep during the official act. An alcohol test was also not possible. The man’s car key and driver’s license were provisionally confiscated. He is shown.
