Many of the customers were finishing their meal orders when a masked robber burst into the Ranchito Taqueria Mexican fast food restaurant in Houston, Texas. But the perpetrator clearly didn’t expect any resistance…
The robber was particularly interested in the guests’ valuables and shouted loudly through the crowd, “Throw your valuables on the floor!” Then he went around to collect the loot – a fatal mistake!
Police are looking for shooters
When he turned his back on a bald guy, he pulled out a gun himself and pulled the trigger. He shot the robber four times in the back and when the man lay motionless on the ground, again in the head. The gunman then handed out the valuables to the shocked other guests before quietly getting out and driving off in his pickup truck.
Police are now looking for the shooter – but only to question him as a witness. According to American gun law expert Carmen Roe, his action is considered self-defense before the law: “Anyone who fears for their life may act. You may neutralize the threat – however many times you shoot.”
